CONDENSATE AND HUMIDITY DETECTORS

Jola Spezialschalter's electrode probes for humidity or condensate sensing are designed for a wide range of installations, especially in cooled rooms. That is, where the occurrence of condensation or moisture is expected and undesirable.

The sensor is a flexible PCB that can be glued to copper pipes or metal surfaces. An adhesive agent and protective film is applied to the back of the sensor.

The sensor acts as a conductive cell. The conductivity is measured using alternating current to prevent corrosion and polarisation effect. The sensor is equipped with parallel printed conductors which are gold plated for better surface protection. The sensor should be installed where moisture is expected to be present.
