STATUS SIGNS WITH MAGNETIC SWITCHES

Jola Spezialschalter's magnetic level sensing gauges are designed for a wide range of installations and, thanks to their variability, can be fitted to specific installations according to customer requirements. The products are also available in versions that are suitable for explosive environments.

The switching element is a magnet that moves in the tube according to the movement of the float on the surface in the tank. Magnetic switches are arbitrarily mounted on the tube, which are activated when the magnet approaches. The tubes are installed on the outside of the tank.

These systems can be used as level sensors and thus select their function at the moment of switching. They can therefore be used for pump control, overfill protection and dry running, level indication (water, waste water, liquid chemicals, oils, hydrocarbons, etc.).

The systems are installed from above or from the side. The moving magnet is fixed only by the length of the tube (or float dip) in which it moves.

The main aspects for the correct selection of the type of system suitable for installation are:

Tank dimensions and installation conditions, fluid type, viscosity, temperature, specific gravity of the fluid, operating pressure and swirl in the tank.

Certification:

HA and HAM series - side mounting, possibility of opening or closing the flow by means of taps, pipe material - duran glass or transparent PVC. Magnet material - PP, PVDF. Material of taps - PP, PVDF, stainless steel. Not suitable for use in a place with high vibration
NVM, NEM and IRN/NEM (EX) series - top mounting, different types and sizes of floats - oval, round. The float according to the level is moved by a magnet in the tube, tube material - stainless steel or translucent PVC. Magnet material - PP. Material of floats - PP, stainless steel. Material of the sliding rod - stainless steel or titanium. Not suitable for use in swirling liquids
ENVM series - side mounting, system of two pulleys and a cable stretched freely or through a tube, different types and sizes of floats - SSX or oval. The float is moved by a magnet in the tube according to the level, tube material - translucent PVC. Magnet material - PP. Float material - PP, stainless steel. Material of the rope - stainless steel or PP. Not suitable for use in swirling liquids
