Flow Meter for Sprinklers

SMB

Sprinkler flow meters are special differential pressure flow meters for new and older installations where flow measurement is required. They are designed for measurement applications in stationary water sprinkler systems.

These devices operate on the basis of differential pressures. The pressure gradient of the liquid on the pipe constriction, which is proportional to the quadratic of the liquid, is used. The resulting pressure differential is displayed on a scale as a straight flow value. The resulting differential pressure is displayed directly on the scale as a volumetric flow rate. 

Common measuring media: water.

Mounting is between flanges. The position of the indicator is not dependent on the direction of flow, flow.

The flow meter equipment can be added on request. The SMB-OE flow meters are with a % scale and a version with a separate display from the orifice, extended by a cable, can also be ordered.
