IMMERSION PROBES WITH MAGNETIC SWITCHES

Jola Spezialschalter's magnet-controlled immersion level sensing probes are designed for a wide range of installations and, thanks to their variability, can be fitted to specific installations according to customer requirements. The products are also available in versions that are suitable for explosive environments.

The switching element is a permanent magnet with reed contacts, mounted in the guide tube at a fixed position, which switches when the float approaches this position.

These probes can be used as level sensors to select their function at the moment of switching. They can therefore be used for pump control, overfill and dry run protection, level indication (water, wastewater, liquid chemicals, oils, hydrocarbons, etc.).

Normally, these probes are mainly installed from the top or from the side (side installation is possible due to the possibility of ordering a bent tube). The floats on the guide tubes are fixed only by defining their path on the tube for permanent engagement of certain contacts by means of locking rings.

The main aspects for the correct selection of the type of system suitable for installation are: 

Tank dimensions and installation conditions, type of fluid, viscosity, temperature, specific gravity of the fluid, operating pressure and swirl in the tank.

1. TSR series also in the (EX) version - mounting by hanging from above (fixation by guide tube with mounting nipple) or from the side (fixation by flange, guide tube with mounting nipple, bent tube), permanent magnets with reed contacts, terminal box in box, box IP 65, box material PP, IP 68, float and tube material - PP, PVDF, stainless steel, titanium. Different types of floats - spherical, oval, square of different sizes

2. NTR series also in version (EX) - mounting by hanging from the top (fixation by mounting nipple, plug) permanent magnets with reed contacts, IP 54, float and tube material - PP, stainless steel, 2 types of cable

3. MK series - mounting by hanging from the top (fixation by a guide tube with mounting socket) permanent magnets with reed contacts, terminal box in box, box IP 65, box material PP, IP 68 float material - PP, tube material - stainless steel. Not suitable for animal liquids

4. TSQ and TSK series - see. TSR, inside the tube is a stretched chain
