Electrode Level Sensing

CONDUCTIVE ELECTRODE CONTROLLERS

Jola Spezialschalter's level sensing electrode probes are designed for a wide range of installations and, thanks to their variability, can be fitted to specific installations according to customer requirements.

Level control by electrodes is used to automatically control pumps, electric valves, to protect against dry running or overflow in wells and tanks with electrically conductive liquids. The level levels are continuously sensed by electrodes which, on contact with the conductive liquid, switch on the control electronic relay. For so-called two-point control, two control electrodes and one zero-potential electrode, the so-called carcass, must be fitted. One working electrode E1 and one skeleton electrode are sufficient to signal the level condition. Instead of the skeleton electrode, it is possible to use a connection to the metal conductive tank shell, but we recommend using a separate skeleton electrode in any case.

  • different design variants
  • top mounting
  • stainless steel with polyolefin coating
  • various and special materials
  • for non-pressure and pressure environments
  • also for explosive environments
  • use for highly and poorly conductive liquids

Certification:

  1. hanging electrodes EH, EHK, LWZ, EHE - 1 control electrode and the second skeleton electrode, mounting from above (fixation with mounting socket), connection via terminal block or cable, electrode rod material - stainless steel, mounting material - PP, PP and Duroplast, stainless steel

  2. rod electrodes S, SE, SEV, SR - 1 control or skeleton electrode / 1-4 control and second skeleton electrode / 2 control electrodes, top mounting (fixation with mounting socket or flange), connection via connector H07RN-F 1 IP34 or M16 cable entry or M20 cable entry IP 54, electrode rod material - stainless steel with polyolefin or PVDF

  3. pressure-resistant electrodes S 2 B, S 2 A - 1 control or skeleton electrode / 1-3 control and second skeleton electrode / 2 control electrodes, top mounting (fixation with mounting socket or flange), M20 cable entry IP 54, electrode rod material - stainless steel with polyolefin or PVDF

  4. rod electrodes from special materials STI, SHC, SHB, SMO, STA - electrode rod material - titanium with PVDF, Hastelloy C with PVDF, Hastelloy B with PVDF, monel with PVDF, tantalum with PVDF
