Differential Pressure Flow Meters are devices for new and older installations where flow measurement is required. They are intended for use in measuring small flow rates in areas such as cooling and production machines in the paper and mining industries, water treatment plants, water management, etc.

These devices operate on the basis of pressure differentials. They use the pressure gradient of the liquid on the pipe constriction, which is proportional to the quadratic values of the liquid. The resulting pressure differential is displayed on a scale as a straight flow value. The resulting differential pressure is applied to the pressure tap or displayed directly on the scale or screen as a volumetric flow rate. It can also trigger the switch when the desired volumetric flow rate is reached.

Common measuring media: water, air, common types of transparent liquids and gases. Also suitable for non-conductive liquids (mineral oils, acids, alkalis).

Mounting is by screwing through a nipple with a threaded nut or between flanges. The position of the indicator is dependent on the direction of flow, flow.
