Safety

Safety

Our safety technology includes products that are necessary in the areas of machine and plant safety in order to comply with the applicable legal and safety requirements. Preventing accidents that are hazardous to the health of the people operating the machines is the primary goal - likewise, productivity should not be impaired.

Tactile Sensor Systems (mat, bumper, edge)

Tactile sensor systems are modeled on the human sense of touch, allowing touch to be perceived. They are used, for example, to protect crushing and shearing points in the machine area, such as in automatic sliding doors of e.g. CNC machines.

Safety Switches

The guard locking devices and interlocks are used in the form of key or key transfer systems, optionally with forced key removal, where the entire area of a machine or system is to be protected against access. Both mechanical and electromagnetic variants are available, as well as models with RFID.

Key Transfer System

A key transfer system contains keys that are mechanically locked or released after a specified sequence. The aim is to make it possible to enter the plant only when it is in a safe state.

Optical Sensor Systems

Optoelectronic sensors are devices that detect objects by means of light (within a certain spectrum) and can thus trigger control, switching and regulating functions. Electrical pulses are converted into light pulses by the transmitter of the optical sensor and these are converted back into electrical signals by the receiver.

Radar System

The first certified volumetric safety system with radar technology can be used to safeguard areas where optical and tactile systems reach their limits due to environmental conditions (e.g. dust. smoke, steam, production waste). The controllers of the can be combined with both sensors as desired.

Safety-PLC

Safety controllers capable of replacing any safety relay and supporting all types of safety components (limit switches, curtains, barriers, interlocks, muting, e-stops, cams, ambidextrous buttons, pushbuttons and 3-position pedals) but also total encoders and network gates, as well as AS-I bus support. Their use in applications allows the requirements of the Machinery Directive for new machines and the Tooling Directive for old machines to be met.

Safety Relay

Safety relays are products designed to operate safety components such as curtains, barriers, E-stops, mats, slats, limit switches, ambidextrous controls, pedals and three-position pushbuttons, and to perform muting or time switch functions, all of which are realised through reduced/failure-resistant circuits certified up to safety category 4 and meeting the requirements of EU directives (tool and machine).

Wireless Safety

Wireless components allow safety functions to be realised without the use of wiring. Thanks to digital bidirectional transmission, it is possible to achieve safety level SIL3 without the use of wired connections.

Radio Remote Controls

Security for wireless interface operation, based on decentralisation of traffic control and space saving in the control panel.

Operating Units

Controls to protect the operator during work, both in the danger zone (3-position) and out of the danger zone (ambidextrous panels/buttons), often used when adapting machines to the requirements of the Tool Directive and in new machines complying with the Machinery Directive.

Safety Fences

The protective enclosures are the complement to safety switches, key systems, light grids, safety contact mats, etc.

Signal Transmission System / Safety Drive Controls

Our safety technology includes products that are indispensable in the safety areas of machines and installations in order to comply with current legal and safety requirements. The overriding aim is to prevent accidents that endanger the health of operators - and this should not reduce productivity.

Safety Alarm Indicator

Power supply status indicators for electrical enclosures to inform the operator whether the power supply to the enclosure (via the power supply cables) has been completely disconnected, e.g. when opening the enclosure for repairs or when working on the electrical supply.

Services

We offer safety-related advice and evaluation as well as reaction time measurements of protective devices in accordance with the requirements of EN ISO 13855 or, in the case of press brakes, in accordance with the PE-EN 12622 standard.
