Solenoid interlocks - modularly expandable with RFID security key

In order to do justice to increasingly complex networks, modern technology is now introducing the option of equipping or retrofitting safety equipment with RFID safety keys. As with the mechanical system, a key is removed when a danger zone is entered, thus preventing the machine from being restarted or the operator from being locked in. The key can only be removed after the system has been released, and an LED provides visual feedback.

The combination with the amGardPro interlocking system with Profinet offers a complete system at performance level PLe if required:

3D Safety Radar - expansion in safety technology and Ethercat

The popular radar system can now be expanded to include the new S201A sensor: This enables more precise settings of the radar and it can also create asymmetrical zones to create even more specialised shapes of the monitoring area. The certified radar safety system specifically for industrial safety applications is also used when dust, chips, smoke, vapour, water or production waste are present in the environment. By utilising the 60 GHz frequency band, interference can be filtered and false alarms avoided.

The software and system logic are intuitive, making it easy to configure the area: regularly shaped areas are configured automatically, while more complex protected areas are configured manually. Furthermore, muting areas with different behaviour can be defined so that people and operating personnel are granted access to the machine under safe conditions if required.

3D Safety Radar - the new features at a glance:

Safety contact mats - flexible design

The safety contact mats with a textured surface and IP67 protection rating are surface switching sensors that are used for area protection and in automated production systems throughout industry. The moulded ramp rail option ensures a high level of reliability, while the optional integrated cable duct simplifies installation.

The Flex Set is a complete set for the protection of machinery, which can be configured from defined safety mats with moulded cable duct. Also included is the clip edge including black and yellow clip connectors for connecting the safety contact mats and for visual zone separation, if required. The set also includes clip-on aluminium cable duct covers and clip-on ramp rails, as well as cable sets for wiring.
